Mr. H your answer, in my mind, is the correct and logical one if abortion is outlawed.  Not so for the hard core anti-abortion crowd which opts for the "political correctness" they so roundly condemn on other issues.  "Abortion is murder, but the mother is a second victim, not the accessory who delivers the victim to the murderer, therefore, she escapes punishment".  It makes no sense other than political and we have yet to get an explanation, logical or otherwise, from the pro-life-in-all-cases group either on this forum or in the nation as a whole.
