With China owning so much of our debt the interest payments we will be making to them will be more than they spend on their military. In essence, the United States of America is going to fund the military buildup of the the Red Chinese Army!!!! So if one day we get into a conflict with China we need to remember that our fiscal irresponsibility funded the bombs and bullets killing our soldiers. And this is a bipartisan problem that both Dems and the GOP have to live with. Of course OCarter/Pelosi/Reid have dramatically accelerated this outcome but Bush and the GOP have their share of the blame. We need to cut our federal government down to its proper size. We need to cut taxes for the productive so tax revenues will increase. We need an amendment to the U.S. Constitution forcing the Federal Government to balance the budget.
