I referred to Sr. Chavez as a thug dictator, based on my opiion. It has nothing to do with AP, networks or FoxNews or that other one, uhhhhh, CNN. I've never heard any press reports calling him anything other than the President or leader. I don't put much credence in many press reports since I used to work in that business.

Boycot or buycot, I'm not sure which is which. Kind of like white bread and light bread. Might be different, might not. Never figured that one out.

Either way, I sleep better at night knowing I've spoken up with the only thing companies understand - the US dollar. My money won't make any difference int he big scheme, but you have to make a personal stand for what is right.

As for causing hardships on fellow Americans, anyone can choose where you work. It is not germain to the discussion at hand if someone making $10 an hour looses a job because I buy a tank of gas from a refiner other than where he works. It simply can't happen. From recent reports, my choice not to spend money at Exxon stations didn't do much to deter multi-million dollar executive bonuses, but I have personal convictions I choose to stand with.
The point is simple. We only get to vote in the booth and then choose where we spend our dollars. Please don't be offended if I buy a car other than Honda or Mercedes. I don't want Alabamians out of work, but I'll have to stick with used jeeps. Being up in Tennessee now instead of the LM area, I don't feel like I'm putting nearby Nissan workers out of a job, either.
