You have to remember, the people that make this happen and the wealthy donor class never...and I mean never...suffer from the consequences of their distastrous policies.  They are far too wealthy from pay for play schemes, insider trading, lucrative book deals, etc. to ever have to worry about rising interest rates and inflation.
