Why does the water level stay at winter pool for so long?  The water starts going down on Oct 1st and doesn't start refilling until April 1st. In 2017/2018, the water starting coming up at the end of January and stayed around 787 until the middle of March before filling to full pool.  Does anyone know why this stopped after 2017/2018?

Does anyone know if there are plans to change the water level process in the future?

From what I've heard, Lake Martin only drops 5 feet instead of 8 feet (it used to drop 8 feet).
