Never said they weren't pretty. I actually enjoy watching them. But with the numbers they have become, they are in fact, a nuisance. Or goosance as has been said. I'd rather have an e coli free lake to swim and play in than a goose to watch. Furthermore, they are a pest on the golf course and a danger to airports. My other 2 passions.

I've heard it said that Barnett Lawley, former state director of conservation was the guy that lead the effort to introduce them to Alabama. Someone said he has a place on Logan Martin. And they also suggested we round them all up and deposit them on his property. LOL! And please don't think I'm serious about that. I do think it's funny tho!
