I have pointed this out numerous times but it is apparently not getting through. What could the federal government under Obama do in response to this problem? They could get the he|| out of the way of BP and the states but because we are leaderless and have only a teleprompter in chief they did not. One shining example. It took them six weeks to approve the berms that Bobby Jindal, a true executive and leader, requested be built!!! And even after approval the Feds are still hemming and hawing on this to the point that Jindal has said he is going ahead with them regardless of what the Feds say. I could cite many other examples like the refusal of the Dutch help, the lengthy approval process to do anything and on and on.

As for your opinion of what McCain would or would not do I have to vehemently disagree and this is just my opinion. One thing about McCain, whether you like him or not or like what he does or not, he would have made decisions. I feel almost certain that he would have issued an executive order to the USACOE to approve the berms and he would have done it right away.

This administration is a complete nightmare and all you can say is McCain would have done no better?!?!? You don't know for certain that he would have done no better like I don't know for certain he would have. One thing we both know for certain is he could have been no worse than the man-child in the Oval office. 2012 will not be here soon enough and G-d help the GOP if they put up some retread.
