Happen all, the time,, or just this weekend?? All the time,, yep, that's a problem needs a solution.
We have an exterior sound system that we use every time we are at the lake. But, we play it low, because I know how sound carries across water. Don't want to rile my neighbors with real music from the 60's and 70's, or yes, country.
However, we do have an occasional party where the music is live (from a performer) and it is louder than normal because it is outside. Once a year, maybe. Never had a neighbor complain in person,, to my face, except for the guy on the point who repeatedly zips his Waverunner within 10 feet of my floating dock. I ignored him with a LM Wave.
My point: If that happens too often, it becomes an irritant. If not, let it pass. It's just people enjoying themselves. When Mr. Scrushy was in his prime, he had some huge parties at his castle, about 2 miles away by water. Talk about loud?? But, it was not often. So, no problem.
