The original numbers for water level starting on 10/20/2010 (10 days) reflected an average of 499,19 feet with a standard deviation of o.074 feet. During that period, statistically speaking meant that with 99+% confidence, APC is capable of controlling from 498.97 feet to 499.41 feet, a delta of 0.44 feet. This is outstanding level control even with 6 inches of rainfall within a 48 hour period.

New statistics starting on 10/20/2010 through 11/3/2010.

Avg water level - 499.20 feet
Std. Dev. - 0.066
Range with 99+% probability - 499.00 feet to 499.40

Folks, this is straight line control. What is APC doing differently in the operation of the Gorgas Plant that permits basically zero change in water level over a two week period. In my 16 years on the lake, I have never seen this level of control.

And this level of control in a time of average day time temperatures. So, what about losses for evaporation, navigation, municipalities demands, and hydro power generation?
