This freedom that you speak of, and that you are so quick to use to your advantage: I DID fight for it, and not my tapping the keys of a computer. I saw combat, re-upped, and saw more combat, and my sons are currently serving in the Middle East.

And among the things I fought for was the right to use logic: you CANNOT say for certain that starting a war in Iraq put an end to terrorist attacks. Maybe it did, but there is no way to say for certain.

And then there is the school of thought that terrorist attacks are happening against Americans EVERY DAY. If you don't believe me, go visit my kids. Spend a day with them, doing what they do and facing what they face, and THEN tell me that terrorists aren't still hard at work. Just because it's happening thousands of miles away doesn't make the victims any less American... no matter how you feel about them.
