campaign promises with an expiration date. We are all used to politicians that say one thing in a campaign and then do another but Obama is breathtaking is his broken promises and the government media is AWOL as usual. The good news is they have floated the idea that union-provided health care will be exempt from taxation. First he delivered GM and Chrysler to the unions and now this payoff. I actually hope they do this because it will be a HUGE leverage issue for the GOP in 2010.

Other examples. Axelrod on the weekend shows has officially taken the "No tax increases whatsoever for anyone under $250K" off the table. Of course, for those of us with an ounce of sense we knew it was a lie from the very beginning. Actually with the carbon cap and tax plan every American will be subjected to the largest tax increase in our history (on average around $4K per household on annual basis). He also lied about taking public funding for his campaign and wisely reneged only after McCain was stuck (a delicious bit of irony for those of us who view McCain-Feingold as unconstitutional). There are several others I saw listed recently but you get the picture.....
