We have a Jackson Big Tuna which is a two seater and we really like it. Wife and I enjoy tooling around our area at sunset after things calm down a bit. The seats come out for solo paddling and can also be moved to different positions, both forward and aft as well as up and down. They are very comfortable (think lawn chairs). Stability was a big issue with me. I wanted something I could stand up to fish in and it's certainly possible with this kayak. I usually use the boat solo so it has lots of room for gear and long legs. It's a tad heavy, but still very maneuverable and plenty fast. Weight is not too much of an issue for me as I either leave it on the dock or simply put it on a kayak cart and put it in the boathouse. These are nice boats and cost more, but offer more features; are more comfortable; and very well built. Check with Lonnie Carden at Southern Trails in Wetumpka as he is very knowlegable and offers several brands. Offshore Marine across from Russell on 63 sells kayaks as well. Good luck and have fun shopping!
