Heard on the news today that Brazil is committing $250B to deep water drilling. The commentator commented that deep water to the Brazilians means greater than 5,000 feet which is the depth of the well currently discharging oil in the Gulf.

Obama's order to discontinue deep water drilling in the Gulf has owners of the floating platforms looking toward Brazil. Once gone, this country will have a difficult time replacing the floating platforms in the Gulf. Think of the impact of this on the oil supply for this country.

The bottom line - the oil spillage in the Gulf will possibly be a gain for other nations who are not consumed by Green Energy - Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, Middle Eastern Countries, and Nigeria.
