CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Brett Favre of the Minnesota Vikings, three times honored as the National Football League's most valuable player, has been fined $50,000 by the league, according to reports, for failing to cooperate with a probe into allegations that he sent inappropriate messages and photos to a sports-television personality employed by the New York Jets. An NFL statement reportedly stated that the league had been unable to reach a conclusion on whether the veteran quarterback had violated its player-conduct policies but that Favre had been less than candid during the probe.

One has to wonder if he refused to give them a picture so they could compare and verify it against the one the reporter received? I guess one can say a picture is worth $50,000.
