Here is how it works:

Tax business less, that makes them more competitive, that creates more jobs in the US. The company now makes more money and even at a lower percent pays more dollars. The additional people they employ also pay taxes, those people are now consumers and add to economic growth which adds local sales tax revenues and other business grow. As the companies are more profitable their stock prices go up and investors make more in capital gains and pay taxes on those gains. And yes the middle class wins as well because who does not have a 401K or an IRA.

Higher taxes on businesses, individuals and capital gains hurt the whole system.
