We got a notice from the Tallapoosa Sheriff's Dept regarding a 'sex offender' living within 2000 ft of us and as required by law, anyone within that distance must be notified.

This is pretty unnerving for me and it prompted many questions about how a guy with this background (and possibly just out of jail) could end up out here. Where does he work? Does he work? Who would rent to him? or does he own? These are just a few that come to mind... in any case, my wife asked for a quick refresher on firearm use!

DOB: OCT 6, 1967

WHITE MALE, 5'6", 190LBS, BLUE EYES, BROWN HAIR

CONVICTED OF RAPING A 28 YR OLD FEMALE IN CARROLL CO, GA

Just thought I would pass this along since it is public info and part of the Community Notification Act

Anyone have any more info?
