The Congress can't get out of its own way.  The Senate passed a bill that would give protection to the Supreme Court Justices in the wake of the Kavanaugh attempted murder.  So the House passed a bill that would give protection to the Supremes and members of their staff.  McConnell said the House Bill will not pass in the Senate, because they don't think unnamed staff "that no one knows" should get protection.  

Our Congress can no longer pass a simple Bill.  They can't compromise.  They can't get out of their own way.  Imagine if you were a Justice or a key staff member and you felt threatened, but could not get protection because Congress is bickering over competing bills.  We need to clean out both sides of Congress and get people that can pass a common sense test.
