If you havent heard, the City of Alex City is preparing a ordinance to make Landlords pay for inspections everytime a home comes empty. If in violation of codes you will not be able to rent again until codes are met. First 2 visits cost $50 each , then, $100 every visit there after.

You can go to the Building Department and picks a copy up for yourself.

There are already laws (see link below) in place to protect the quaility and safety of renters and no more laws are needed. A Landlord Association is being formed. Contact me for more info on how to protect your investments.
