I figured that is what happened. In a former life I was an operations security analyst and try very hard to not include enough information, even across many posts, that would, when pieced together, reveal a person's identity.  In this case I failed that standard and an astute person might put some snippets of information in that post and eventually determine, at a minimum, the son's identity.

There is a long history with this partular poster taking advantage many years ago of my emailing him off line using my true identity and him not reciprocating, refusing to reveal his identity to me.  Instead he steadfastly mined the internet for personal information on me, and especially troubling, my family and used it in posts on this forum.  The other night I reacted to a particularly hypocritical post of his and posted a pretty "chippy" slam that included the name of his son.  After that he called me on my home phone and basically said his wife was giving him a ration of "stuff" and forced him to call me.  I recognized his name on caller ID and listened to what he had to say, which was basically that I shouldn't do to him what he had done to me in the past.

Again, thanks for the explanation and I will be a better behaved poster in the future...unless wrongfully attacked.
