Well, it may not be a very good subject before supper. But---

While geese are enjoyable to watch and the chicks are cute, the animals send out about 5 pounds of excrement per day.
A number of these birds can create a severe e-coli problem (as can ducks, etc.)
I know that they will head for the green grass when water vegetation isn't available. Results normally include scatterings of droppings and destruction of grass.
But please think of your kids, family, and pets, and avoid feeding them. To concentrate them into a small area can result in a "bacteria colony" of large proportions and going for a swim or tracking the poop into your home can be a disaster.
