Please, if the owner (or acquaintance of the boatowner) reads this--refrain from blasting at top speed in and out of the slough. Almost everyone else in the area realizes that we have fairly close quarters there, with kids swimming and other boats that have rights to feel safe on the water. Also, try passing an approaching boat on the correct side (right) and not weaving in and out through your self-induced "slalom course." Not only is public safety at risk, but the boats and docks are already taking a beating. Thanks for your support.
