I know, none of us want to hear---"we are from the government and we are here to help."
But, would it be a good idea for Gov. Bentley to form a commission (to help homeowners losing property) that oversees, and advises rebuilding and insurance contracts at the requests of the property owners. There should be available contractors that have retired and insurance advisers that could become part time consultants working under this commission.
I know we have state departments that help in these matters. I just feel that they will not be able to handle the multible rebuilds across the state and Lake Martin.
