I am in Windover and near much of the destruction. I was very concerned about boating and almost did not get it out. I did so and was extremely cautious and slow. I am very glad to say I saw only a couple of pieces of debris, none large boating for four days in my area.
Is it over? Heck no, but I do want to encourage responsible boating. We are supposed to drive a boat with caution anyhow, right? I think that it is reasonable to get on the lake---just be extra cautious and enjoy beautiiful Lake Martin.

I would also like to applaud those involved with removal of trees and house debris from our area. They are giving it high priority and making excellent progress---much more to do though. Thanks to all involved.
