Were these legally placed by the authorized agency on your lake.  I think it is Marine Police on Logan Martin but not sure. It may be APCO employees.   If it is buoys you bought and put out there are two possibilities.  One, being unauthorized the proper agency took them.  Two, if unauthorized someone got sick of your illiegal bouys placed for your family enjoyment and not safety.  I suspect the latter because if they were legally placed you would be contacting the proper authorities and not this forum.  Either way one phone call will solve your "mystery".  I would suggest you make the call IF they were legally placed.  If not you might want to leave well enough alone IMHO.
