I have a 240cs "Stingray". The original prop is 19x14.5 (3) blade, I tried a 18x14.5 (4) blade which really gave less performance. I don't know the gear ratio but it is factory set. I am looking for faster plane off, I am not really worried about top end speed. With 6 regular size adults and medium gear (coolers, chairs, ect.)I sometimes cannot plane off at all. I have installed 9" trim tabs as well, these help tremendously but with boat loaded it will still not plane off. I have not exceeded the weight limit so ..... can anyone help. New size prop ??
