Finally, it's fixed. Service man (Auburn Student) showed up this morning and replaced the board in 20 minutes. TV failed about 10/1, approval for extended warranty 10/25, repair 11/15. Don't ever accuse Samsung of rapid service. But it's done. Yes, board has 2 higher voltage (16v) capacitors to replace the bad 10 volt originals.
