One thing in your post that may deserve expanding. The releases from the Corps, of Georgia water will run through the Coosa system and into the Alabama River. The 10% Reduction applies to both the Coosa and Tallapoosa systems. With the additional water coming through the Coosa system combined with the 10% reduction lead to a helpful (maybe significant) reduction of the daily draw down that has been occurring on Lake Martin. We haven't seen any projections of what impact they think will occur yet. You are correct--only rain will make the lake rise.
