try tying up between the center column (number 6 from both sides) at kowalgia bridge. tying up can be a bit tricky but i've caught some big stripe this way. several 25-30 lbs. Drop some bright lights over both sides of your vessel about 1-2 inches off the water to bring some bugs and minnows. the brigher the light the better (deeper the beam into the water). get you some large shiners, or spottails if you know how to catch them. fish 30-40 feet deep with as many pools as you can. All of this at night of course, so take a lantern. they usually hit with no pattern between 8:00pm till 2:00am... most likely later, but I never stay past 2:00 or so. take a big net and be prepared to get two at a time, as they usually come through in schools it seems. be sure to take plenty of minnows, checking your bait every 45 minutes or so.

avoid this method of fishing friday-sunday night as the number of boats and waves make it really hard to get tied up. it can be done if you have good ropes.
