Alabama and Auburn, as contenders of a national championship must be competitive, and not let their interstate rivalry be dwindled. Alabama football history is so smoke screened that Auburn has just recently been given national attention.

This must really give the big Whigs in Montgomery reason to worry....

As previously stated, I am an OU fan (that’s University of Oklahoma – Graduate of Faulkner U). I am not a fan of Big 12 conference, but a fan of my team. I hope my conference stands up to competition because it is impossible to justify winning all the time if you never play any team of value… BUT, I digress….

Why is it that Troy (State) doesn’t get any respect within the state of Alabama?

They have recently entered the Division 1A football arena, and this year they will play
Arkansas, Florida, OK State, and Georgia. Tonight, Troy beat OK State worse than Georgia did, AND they did it in style.

Some day soon you will see Alabama or Auburn on the Troy schedule…….. What I want to know is if it will happen years in advance, or conveniently scheduled? (meaning that Alabama or Auburn would pick them with a guaranteed win?)

I once discussed that Oklahoma and Oklahoma State must play Tulsa on their regular season schedules because it made sense to the Governor of Oklahoma (revenue, respect for conference, etc.) so, why hasn’t Alabama?

Why can’t Alabama and Auburn manage to fit in a measly Troy for a scheduled game?

I would love to hear from an Auburn or Alabama FAN on this one (not a financial backer or otherwise…).

BTW, for CATBOAT – I have not had my medication in over two weeks, and my cholesterol was 290, and right now my BP is only 148/90….
Meds are on the way.......
