You know, every time I hear someone say something like that, I just think about all the things that are regulated to one's benefit -- But, you have the ability to drop out in a small way -- refuse Social Security, Medicare, buy your drugs from overseas (unregulated sources). There are all kinds of ways to move out from under government regulation. What do you think this country would be like with no court system, no military, no police, no public services whatsoever, no monetary system? You may not like everything the government does, but I don't think you'd want to live in a country without one. And you could always move to a 3rd world country without a strong central government and see how you like that. Go spend a year in Pakistan, Eqypt, Yemen, Somalia, Angola, Rwanda, DROC and let me know what you think then. Or maybe you'd like to go to Iran and even Saudi Arabia, and see how you'd feel then. I think you would feel quite a bit different about the US government.
