I didn't say I agreed with Beck, just that lots of non-liberals have for some time, and many from the beginning. I will say this, and it is based on the benefit of hindsight. If you had told me that the next president would completely squander the opportunity that was created in Iraq I would have opposed it for sure. But hindsight is 20/10 and I can't go back on what I believed simply because some man child has grasped total defeat from the jaws of a potential opportunity for some level of success. Am I glad Saddam is taking an eternal dirt nap? You betcha! Does it make me sick to think that NeroOTUS completely squandered this opportunity. You dang sure betcha.
But I agreed with the threat that they posed. I know they had WMD. I believe they were hidden or shipped to Syria while we screwed around with multiple UN resolutions. And at the time a great many Democrats agreed with me. That they have "changed" their minds demonstrates that they are cynical and dishonest. I am neither. That they lied about having independently verified the threat and that's why they voted for the war says way more about their total absence of character. I will remain consistent. And I don't care how many Glem Beck's come out of the woodwork. Never let them influence what I believe and never will.......
