Trump owns the Miss Universe brand.  The woman competed and won to represent the Miss Universe brand.  This is a beauty contest and a contract to represent the brand at a certain level.

This woman won, and then proceeded to gain 55 lbs.  Mr. Trump was no longer satisified with her representation of his brand, so he fired her.  She then went on to involve herself with additional questional activities.  But then she comes back on the picture and boo-hoos about how she was mistreated by Trump. 

1. She entered the Miss Universe contest of her own free will. 

2.  She then gained so much weight that she no longer represented the brand in the way the franchise owner expected. 

3. She got fired. 

4.  Then she proceeded to make the rounds on TV, crying about how he mistreated her. 

5.  He said disparaging things about her in response.  He was not a Presidential candidate at the time.  He was a businessman.

6.  She went and got involved in additional questionable activities. 

7. Now Trump is running for office and she comes out of the woodwork to remind everyone how "terrible" he was to her.

8.  the Liberal media, as well as the liberal voter jump on this like they have found gold in a stream.  "isn't he awful to women" they cry.
