Interesting article with some current info. Just curious what is the point of the universal health care statement? I read the article and they seem to have all the same concerns about available hospital beds, etc.
Despite that, the article basically states that they are trying another approach which has many in the health care community nervous. Only time will tell whether the govt is right or wrong about this but so far their approach doesn't seem any worse than what we are seeing here except a higher mortality rate. But as I point out, measuring mortality to confirmed cases is faulty because the number of confirmed cases is based on the volume of testing which can distort the number if there is less testing as a percentage of the population. And note, I am avoiding the issue of universal health care and its impact on mortality. I think other issues such as the age of the population and pre-existing conditions seem to have more of an influence.
