Many boat owners, including me, have a hard wired strobe light mounted on the rear of our boats (pontoon and fishing). If you wire it correctly it only comes on when you have your anchor light on. Mitchell Marine has them for about 50 bucks. You might want to call before you go because I guess there will be a huge rush on these lights after this incident (not accident). Why do we have to have a "new state law" to protect ourselves with every safety device available?
