Saw these planes also. They appeared to be russian YAK 24s. If so, they are imported acrobatic aircraft used for competion and fun flying. I'm led to believe that Ben R. has one hangered here abouts and friends fly theirs in for fun and games. I have also seen them at the Wetumpka airport doing demos and formation flying shows.Missed the P51 if it was here. Great airplane and probably one of the most important aircraft of world war two.The 8th AF would have lost a lot more bombers and men had it not been for the long range escort capabilities of the P51 Mustang.
