I believe Lorreta Lynn was played by Bill Clinton. He apparently sat on his plane and then invited her on board. It doesn't matter what they talked about. Bill laid a trap for her and she stepped into it. He knew the optics were bad and how it would play out on the Front Page of the Washington Post. She probably felt obligated to speak with him (after all he is the former President (and he makes the rules in that respect over who sees him and who doesn't due to protocol). They could have talked about anything, but he knew by her very willingness to see him, that she would discredit herself and cast a doubt on her objectivity. Old Washington trick. And the poor woman fell for it. She might as well resign now, because her credibility is shot.
Someone once told me that in Washington, you can be cut, diced and served up, before you realize you've even been cut.
