Some places (like Auburn) have periodic garbage forgiveness days when you can put things out (that won't fit in the can) and they are picked up. It would be just super if our garbage company would do this, and not just once but once in a while. That might help prevent the refrigerators and such being thrown in the lake in the first place. However, if the garbage people won't do it, perhaps folks with trucks could volunteer to do it for this clean up. I have been amazed at how helpful everyone seems to be and the good will people have expressed concerning getting some of the trash out of the lake. thanks
