I think your source is a 'little' off. The Alex City Outlook reported last week that APCo asked the Feds to lower two lakes in Georgia that feed the Coosa River so that they could lessen the drain on Martin. There is only one dam upstream of Martin and to raise Martin 3 feet it would have to be lowered 12 feet--that ain't gonna happen. Maybe with relief from the two dams in Georgia, Lake Martin won't be drained quite as fast, but I don't think you'll see it going up without a lot of rain.
