I know this has been the subject a few times in the past, but I would appreciate any advice based on both good and bad experiences. I have replaced my deck with 5/4 x 6" x 16ft treated deck boards. I have let them "cure" and am now ready to apply a finish. I know composite boards are the way to go but just couldn't afford the added expense at this time, and yes, I know the old saying, "pay now or pay later". I am thinking about using a clear/natural color, but I am open to use whatever I can find that others have used and have found to be a good "coating".
