Just because you do not SEE debris does not mean that it is not there. This was an EF-4 tornado that threw debris in all directions for miles, some forward and some backward. Some of that debris is SUSPENDED!!!, just under the water line, which you CANNOT SEE!! from your boat,,,,,,, until you hit it.
Just think about it as you enjoy your vacation and do as you please. Your risk.
The cleanup of the lake itself has got to be expensive, first finding it, and then removing it. That's why all the push and shove on who pays for it. Whatever, it has not started, and will not be finished for some time.
Just know that it is there, somewhere, and be very careful on the water.
