The BCS is not controlled by the ncaa, and they wont give up control of the bowls, because the BCS controls the money from the bowls. THE BCS is basically controlled by the big schools so that they dont have to give the money to the ncaa and then have it split up among 60 or 100 schools. Its really all about money. The big schools have control of the money and they are not going to let the ncaa have a playoff and get control of the big bucks.
