It's that companies right and duty to charge as much for a medicine as they can get.  To heck with those that can't afford the life-saving drug.  When they die, we'll save the government their SS and medicare.  And if they are on Medicaid so much the better!

Seriously, I understand the young, former Hedge Fund Manager is rethinking his strategy in the wake, no doubt, of all the negative press.
