She has every right to be outraged as a mother, about what Letterman said. In fact, if she showed up in the studio and smacked him I would think she would be justified. But rather than being an outraged mother and leaving it at that, she has to drag it into the political arena. Now what does Obama have to do with something tasteless and totally wrong said by a television personality? Nothing.
And by dragging it into a political context it makes her look ridiculous. Which is why she has no future in national politics.
