LMLPA is the Logan Martin Lake Protection Association. A good group of dedicated people who monitor water quality and do what they can for the wellfare of the lake and the lake property owners. Everyone around the lake or with an interest in the lake should be a member. Their numbers now are not what they should be to wield any real political or negotiating power or influence.
We (My wife and I) are members and I have been impressed with how much they do accomplish with such a small membership.
Should LMLPA not want to get heavily involved with politics, a sister organization could always be formed.
Probably an opportunity was missed during the re-license process although I do know the LMLPA was involved. Power equals numbers and we need numbers to make a difference.
