but still can't find the just right bumper sticker. I prefer to focus on fiscal conservatism. I practice it personally. I believe that many of our social ills are directly attributable to liberal fiscal policies. Relieving people of personal responsibility, wasteful programs which encourage poor life decisions, eliminating any shame associated with failure, funding "self esteem", and the long term lousy outcomes, all fall under the fiscal umbrella. I will go on about command vs free market economies some other time. I hate the thought of sending kids, and young adults to war, but recognize there may be circumstances which make it necessary. I am just not sure I have seen those necessary circumstances in my lifetime. As for the social, the only bedroom I am interested in is mine and would prefer folks engaged in traditional bedroom activities keep those activities in theirs. I really don't have a compelling need to share the moment, or the life. As for religion, or not, I have mine. If I see you in church, we'll speak. I am uncomfortable playing a missionary role, and would prefer that any efforts to bring me around to another religious point of view be expended elsewhere, like good works. Just make sure that my faith, and my church, is afforded the same level of protection as every other. Finally, SS and Medicare are NOT entitlements, as 15+ cents on every dollar earned is paid first to those programs. They are prepaid programs, programs that need some serious attention, but prepaid programs nonetheless. That little bit of insight into this alias may help you understand why I see todays government, both D and R, elected and appointed, as partying like George in 1775. And we all know how that worked for him.
