I don't follow Alaska politics, so maybe you can fill in some gaps for me.

What has Gov. Palin done to indicate she "successfully ran a state"? What is the difference between successfull and unsuccessful?

What has she done or said that makes you think "she is smart and has done an excelletn job as governor"?

Again, I'm not saying she isn't smart or that she hasn't been a good governor .... well, okay, I have to admit I don't think she is very smart, but after learning more I could change my mind.
