What an interesting post from an Obama supporter. I thought when the Messiah was elected the world was going to come together, the skies would open up and the sun would shine. Now you are telling me that we have all these problems and we are relying on a community agitator that can't even get basic etiquette right as our solution?!?!?
One comment on your point about political parties at loggerheads. My friend, Republicans have been completely shut out of the political process, especially in the House. Democrats have control of the White House, the Senate (especially with the RINOs Specter, Collins and Snowe) and the House. They can and have been doing any da** thing they want. This is their mess and they are doing nothing but making it worse with trillions of dollars of new debt, an incredible increase in the size, scope and intrusiveness of the federal government, hiring and firing of CEOs, running the stock market down and on and on. There is no one to blame here but you self professed moderates who took a chance on hope and change.
