Guess I missed the event promotion, but the LM Winston Cup smoke off was held recently at Big Beach.  Stopped by there yesterday for a swim and couldn't believe all the cig butts on the beach.  Hundreds/pounds of them.  I would have picked them up, but spent my time picking up cans, bottles, plates, napkins, plastic bags, etc, etc.  What is it in some peoples DNA that makes them think trashing the beach is ok?  Sad.
