cstew - if I had only known you were an amateur Q guy....

Without a doubt, my favorite is Bad Byron's Butt Rub.  See link below.

Although I love sauce, don't get me wrong - I also agree that sometimes sauce can be used to mask a poor job in the smoker.

I ask for sauce on the side anytime I eat Q out.  I taste it first with no sauce, it separates the men from the boys that way. I have had surprisingly poorly cooked Q from restaurants that advertise that they know what they're doing.  Sauce should enhance the experience, not BE the experience, in my opinion.

That being said, I look forward to trying Mr. Elliot's new sauce!
