I went through your same thought process late last summer. I bought a used Sea Ray Sundeck 240 without a trailer. I could have bought a trailer and kept it at our cabin, but my thought was that for what a trailer cost I could store it for a while, plus I figured the ease of storing it would let me use it more, and so far I have been right about that.

Kowaliga Marina is the closest to our cabin, so I called them, but they did not have room for a boat my size, because once you count the swim deck it's actually almost 26 feet.  They simply did not have a single rack available on the inside for a boat like mine. Their only options were wet slips storage and I didn't want to do that.

I ended up calling Anchor Bay and storing it there and it has been one of the best decisions I have made regarding my boat. First of all, they are cheaper than Kowaliga. Secondly, and most importantly, they are genuninely nice people and their service attitude is a refreshing delight. They care for my boat like it's their own, noting little things like yesterday they told me my battery reading looked a little weak. I hadn't noticed. Plus they will gas it up (ethanol free and reasonably priced), fill up my cooler with ice and whatever (beverages there cost the same as at C stores) and have it ready to go (warmed up and bimini up, I crank and go).  At the end of many weekends last summer my family grabbed a bite to eat at the restaurant on site, it was perfect.

I am biased now as a devoted fan of them, but I am telling you, their welcoming, accommodating attitude is a real difference maker to me.
